Major projects that we are working on, which require ongoing development and funding are:

  • SEA Recreational Trails Development & Connectivity
  • Harvey Moore Wildlife Sanctuary Revitalization Project
  • SEAs Community Pollinator Park & Butterfly House

Ongoing Programs:

SEA’s Community Water Quality Monitoring Program is comprised of 3 main activities:

  • SWQM [1]– Chemical Monitoring
  • CABIN[2] – Biological monitoring
  • CAMP[3] – Estuary monitoring

SEA’s Stream Assessments

    Clean-Up Events and other Citizen Engagement Activities


    With new funding, anticipated projects to come online in 2016:

    • Watershed Management Plans for the six primary regions of SEA: Boughton, Cardigan, Brudenell, Montague-Valleyfield, Sturgeon, and Murray River.
    • Stream Restoration and Habitat Enhancement Program
